This sweet star is handcrafted in India by the women of Rahab's Rope, an organization which seeks to rescue women from the sex trade. It's made out of recycled fabric with a variety of vibrant prints wrapped around a cotton-filled core.
The women who made this star were paid a fair wage for their work and are being given opportunities for healing as well as employment and education! Who knew a little ornament could do so much?
